1. What this service is
Redactron is a routing gateway for large language models. You send a request to our API, we choose a provider under the routing policy in force for your workspace, we forward the request, and we return the response to you.
We are a router, not a model vendor. The text a model returns is produced by that provider's model, not by us, and we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. One account belongs to one legal person or one organization; you are responsible for everything done with your API keys.
API keys are shown once, at creation. We cannot recover a key you lose — we store only a hash. If a key is exposed, revoke it in the console and issue a new one.
You may not share an account to circumvent rate limits, spending caps, or a suspension.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, to generate material that sexually exploits children, to build weapons, to run targeted surveillance of individuals, or to send malware.
You may not attempt to extract another customer's data, probe the isolation between workspaces, or use the API to attack a provider we route to.
The providers we route to impose their own policies. A request that a provider refuses is refused, and we pass that refusal through.
4. Money
The service is prepaid. You add funds to a wallet, we place a hold when a request is admitted, and we settle the hold against the actual cost when the request finishes.
Prices are published per model and per route in the console before you spend anything. A price change never applies retroactively to a request already admitted.
If a request fails before a provider is reached, the hold is released and you are not charged. If a request is interrupted after a provider has begun, you are charged for what was actually used.
Balances are held in the currency shown on your wallet. We do not pay interest on a balance, and we do not treat it as a deposit.
5. Refunds
If we charge you for something the service did not deliver, tell us and we will correct it. Corrections are made to your wallet balance.
Unused prepaid balance is refundable on written request while your account is in good standing, less any amount already spent or held against an in-flight request.
6. Availability and change
We do not promise uninterrupted service. Providers go down, and when they do we route around them where a policy allows it and refuse where it does not.
We may change these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give you notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance. Every version is published with the date it began to bind.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account immediately for a breach of section 3, for non-payment, or where we are legally required to. Where we can give notice first, we will.
You may close your account at any time. Closing it stops new requests; it does not erase records we are required to keep for accounting or legal reasons. See the Privacy Policy for how long those are kept.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data, or the consequences of a decision you took on the strength of a model's output.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
